I have always been fascinated by photographs. I love that you look at a picture and can be transported back in time to when the photo was taken. Or that you can look at old photographs and they give you an insight into a time before you were born. I love that a photograph can take you to a place you have never been; a wedding you couldn’t attend; or remind you of the baby your teenager once was. |

| I am captivated by dark rooms. Not just any dark room but the ones where you develop pictures. I am held spellbound by the process of putting a piece of paper in chemical and all of a sudden you have an image. A moment of someone’s life captured forever. I always thought it was amazing to be able to do that and now, with digital photography, I literary spend hours in front of the computer playing around with images. I love that the technology available now enables me to ‘finish’ the process. I feel it allows me even more creativity with the images I shoot. |

| I love that my photography has allowed me to meet so many different and amazing people. It has let me witness and capture so many special moments. A parent’s first connection with their newborn. A couples first kiss, laugh or tender moment at their wedding. My photo journalism has let me experience society on many levels (some good, some bad) and my fashion work has allowed me to work with industry professionals. All these people are the reason I enjoy what I do.
