Tell us about your business (what product or service you provide )

Business Advisory, Accounting, Taxation, Strategic Planning, CFO Services, Bookkeeping, Consulting, , Training, Xero Advisors, NDIS Plan Management

What’s the best advice you have received in business that you wish to pass on to others?

Know who your client is. Create an Avatar of the type of clients or customers you want to work with. Understand the pain points and how your product or service provides that solution.

What one thing have you learned as a small business owner that has served you well over the years?

Recognising when a plan, process or procedure doesn’t work! Too often, businesses get caught up in the fact that they have made a wrong decision in their business and instead of realising that they have the power + ability to change it, they continue to make the wrong decisions. I had to learn very quickly early on by acknowledging that the decision was made in error…and then have the grit, strength + passion to continue and change direction of the business.

Are there any resources or tools you’d like to share with other small business owners that have helped you run your business?

Embrace cloud technology + cloud accounting, in particular Xero. Make it easy for your customers to purchase your products or services by providing them a payment gateway, or ensuring that their online experience is a smooth one. It takes a consumer three attempts to purchase your product or service, so you want to ensure that they can purchase or buy from you with ease.

What do you do for fun/relaxation?

Love to go to my favourite Cafe and just chill. Love a great massage! Taking my gorgeous munchkins + hubby away for a weekend to spend quality time with them. Binge watch a great Netflix series 🙂

And something on the fun side of things, what’s your party trick?

I started Salsa and Bachata classes over a year ago and it’s just a great way to connect with the community plus who doesn’t love dancing!
