We are a unique and quirky gift store offering a wide range of products from the nice to the naughty.
Q – What’s the best advice you have received in business that you wish to pass on to others?
That your business it’s unique to you! You might be in a general industry with others, however your business is a reflection of you, so always be yourself.
Q – What one thing have you learned as a small business owner that has served you well over the years?
If you don’t try – you won’t know. Not every idea will be a winner, but have belief in yourself and trust the process. If it doesn’t work – change it and make it work.
Q – Are there any resources or tools you’d like to share with other small business owners that have helped you run your business?
Always get assistance from professionals from the very beginning. Whatever area it might be – financial, legal, technical etc…the right advice will save you a lot of time and money in the long run.
Q – What do you do for fun/relaxation?
It normally involves home made cocktails, questionable fashion choices and karaoke.
Q – And something on the fun side of things, what’s your party trick?
Kirsty’s special party trick of reciting movie lines (and lyrics) word for word makes for great entertainment, whilst Emma’s ability to make fluffy scones every.single.time will keep everyone well fed.
