When life has presented you with a reason to celebrate, I can help you plan the perfect occasion. I am an authorised marriage celebrant and have a commitment to providing a professional and enthusiastic service that is personal and sensitive to your event. I also officiate at baby namings, vow renewals and commitment ceremonies.

What’s the best advice you have received in business that you wish to pass on to others?

To be your genuine self and identify with your clients, it’s a very special time.

What one thing have you learned as a small business owner that has served you well over the years?

The main aspect especially in these difficult testing times is to be extremely flexible whilst adhering to legislation. I pride myself in taking care that my couples ceremonies are carried out professionally, with attention to detail and with their requirements in mind. I am more than happy to meet with couples and have a chat so they can decide if I am the celebrant they would like. I can help them choose their venue with suggestions of tropical venues whether it is a beautiful beach, a quaint wedding chapel, a resort, a tropical rainforest, botanic gardens, a romantic island or a private residence. I am happy to help them with ideas and suggestions to create the perfect day…. their way.

Are there any resources or tools you’d like to share with other small business owners that have helped you run your business?

Cairns and surrounds has a unique wedding industry, everyone always willing to help each other out. Living in a small community networking with your peers is essential to my small business. There are so many amazing suppliers up here, someone to suit everyone

What do you do for fun/relaxation?

I love hiking up hills and being part of nature, especially in this beautiful part of the world. Equally I love yoga and walking the dog with my gorgeous sons. The walking or the yoga usually ends with a fabulous cup of coffee. ️

And something on the fun side of things, what’s your party trick?

My party trick hmmmm I have been known to belt out a song or two after a few glasses of champagne!
