Q – Tell us about your business (what product or service you provide )
We own and run the little Cafe besides the change room at the Lagoon, an Icon to Cairns and the Tourism industry, We sell refreshments, delicious Coffees the yummiest ice creams, locally sourced fruit to make delicious smoothies. Slices, cakes, muffins and wraps. Something for everyone.
Q – What’s the best advice you have received in business that you wish to pass on to others?
“You are only as good as your team”
Q – What one thing have you learned as a small business owner that has served you well over the years?
Be authentic and treat everyone the way you would like to be treated.
Q – Are there any resources or tools you’d like to share with other small business owners that have helped you run your business?
Social Media is everything in today’s world, learn and keep posting, this is my next learning chapter as well.
Q – What do you do for fun/relaxation?
I love to enjoy a nice glass of red with my amazing husband while a fire is burning, in our beautiful rainforest garden. But a nice lunch on a Sunday is also welcomed.
Q – And something on the fun side of things, what’s your party trick or secret talent?
My secret Talent I am trilingual English, German and Japanese
