Ladies in Business Day 30 – Blueclick Photography

Sadly we have come to the end of our Ladies In Business showcase and what fun it has been! So last, but definitely not least, introducing the lady behind the camera and founder of Blueclick PhotographyVeronica Sagredo.

Q – Tell us about your business (what product or service you provide):

I provide professional photographic services to the corporate market. My services include headshots, marketing images, press releases, product photography, food photography, corporate events etc, to name but a few.

I also provide unique portrait experiences to families and people who may want something different. With an editorial background, I can help those wanting to have a studio photography session or custom sessions for their families. My Soulful sessions are a favourite to many – these are strong black and white images of children, a timeless look.

Q – What’s the best advice you have received in business that you wish to pass on to others?

As a creative person, the business side of things doesn’t always come naturally so I seek advice and get as much help as I can from professionals in the areas that I do not have expertise in – I highly recommend this for any business owner.

Q – What one thing have you learned as a small business owner that has served you well over the years?

Being able to explain the value of what I do to others is important. Being in an industry that is not regulated means customers hear all different types of mixed messages, so being able to show what I do, why I do it and how I can help my clients is very important.

Q – Are there any resources or tools you’d like to share with other small business owners that have helped you run your business?

Believing in the work that you do and having a good network of people who you trust and they trust you. I’m lucky to have good relationships with all different people including many others in my industry.

Q – What do you do for fun/relaxation?

I’m a bit of a workaholic and find it a bit hard to switch off but when I’m not working I spend time with my family including my parents, husband and son.

Q – And something on the fun side of things, what’s your party trick or secret talent?

Hmmm not sure, I love baking mainly pastries and sweets, and they are always very well received.
